Q: Who do I pay when I win an auction?
A: When you are the high bidder on an auction, you will be sent an e-mail advising you that you have won the auction. The e-mail will tell you the e-mail address and User ID of the seller and the amount of your winning bid. You should contact the seller within three business days to discuss payment options and shipping terms. They also receive E-mail notifying them that their item has closed with a winning bid, and providing them with your e-mail address, User ID and amount of winning bid. Do not send your payment to us, you need to send it to the seller of the item. We are merely your auction host, not the seller!
Q: I can't contact the seller by e-mail, what do I do?
If you cannot contact the seller by e-mail, you should contact us by

and we will do our best to contact them for you.
Q: Can I retract or reduce my bid?
A: You cannot reduce your bid once you have submitted it. The only option you have is to retract your bid, and place another bid in the correct amount. Bid retractions are not always acceptable. To read more about Bid Retractions, click here.
Q: What is a Reserve Price Auction?
A: Some sellers choose auctions with reserve prices when listing an item. The reserve price is the lowest price at which the seller is willing to sell an item. This price should be above the minimum bid price, where the bidding is started. The bidders never know the reserve price. If this price is not met, the seller is not obligated to sell. If a bid is equal to or greater than the reserve price, the item information will indicate the reserve price has been met and the bidder will be notified.
Q: How do I view all the items I'm bidding on?
A: The best way to view all your auctions at once is to use AAANDS "Personalize". You can set this up, simply click on "Personalize" on the toolbar located at the top of any page and enter your User ID and password. Then click on "Edit My Personalize Options" and select the options you'd like to view on your Personalize page. From now on, every time you click on Personalize, the system will automatically go to this page for you and you can select any of your auctions to view immediately!
Q: What is proxy bidding and how do I use it?
A: Proxy bidding is a feature we provide for bidders so they do not miss out on winning auction items because they are away from their computer. To read more about proxy bidding, click here.
Q: I do a search and nothing comes up! Why not?
A: One of our main goals when we started building our site, was to create a more personal trading community for our members. We wanted to create a site where people could feel at home, and know that their feedback was important to us. When we went online in November 1998, we started with a few loyal members, and have grown at a very rapid pace since then. As we are still growing, it is possible that we do not have some of the items you are looking for, but we anticipate that in the very near future, we will be able to accommodate your needs. New sub-categories and items are being added every day, and new members are signing up in droves, so you shouldn't have to wait too long!
