A: To change your User ID, go to the Site Map located on the toolbar at the top of any page. Scroll down until you get to "Registered User Info" and click on "Change User ID". Q: How do I change my E-Mail Address? A: To change your E-Mail Address, go to the Site Map located on the toolbar at the top of any page. Scroll down until you get to "Registered User Info" and click on "Change E-Mail Address". The system will need to revalidate your new E-Mail Address so make sure you follow the instructions in the confirmation E-Mail that is sent to your new address. Q: How do I change my Address/Phone Number? A: To change any of your personal information, go to the Site Map located at the top of any page. Scroll down until you get to "Registered User Info" and click on "Change Registration Info". Q: I registered, but why didn't I receive the confirmation email? A: After submitting your registration form, you will need to allow at least 20 minutes for the confirmation E-Mail to arrive. This time can vary depending on the activity at your E-Mail hosting service. The most common reason you did not receive the confirmation e-mail is that you did not enter your E-Mail address correctly. To check this you need to go back the registration page, enter your User ID and password, and then click "Look Up". If you have made a mistake, simply type in the correct E-Mail address and click "Register" at the bottom of the form. Then when you receive the confirmation E-Mail, make sure you follow its instructions to finalize your registration. Q: What should I do if I am happy/unhappy with the treatment I received from another member? A: We encourage the use of our Feedback system to help promote fair-trading at AAANDS. If you were happy with your dealings with another member, let everyone know by posting positive feedback about this member. Alternatively, if you feel you were treated poorly, leave negative feedback to warn others. We always suggest that negative feedback should be a last resort, after all other options have been exhausted. Q: What do I do if another member has posted negative feedback for me which is unjustified? A: Contact us with all the relevant information. I.e.Item number, E-Mail communications etc, and we will investigate the matter for you and take the appropriate action. Q: What is shill bidding? A: Shill bidding is when sellers use an alias, or a friend or family member to place false bids on an item in an attempt to push up the bid price of an item. This type of activity is illegal at AAANDS, and can result in membership being suspended. Q: What is Item Spamming, and what is your policy on it? A: We invite all members to take advantage of our generous offer of no listing fees, by placing items as many items as they desire, in areas that are related to that particular item. We have recently been forced to adopt this policy, at the request of many of our valued members. Item Spamming is defined as: 1. Listing items in categories that are not related to that item. OR 2. Duplicating items in any category. OR 3. Using a listing to advertise your business and/or website by creating a false auction. We encourage all our valued members to help us monitor site activity and report any questionable activities - as this is 'your' site! The penalty for any such inappropriate listings, will be $1.00 per item (administration fee to end such auctions), a warning and possible membership suspension. Still don't find your answer?
