AAANDS BILLING INFORMATION AND PROCEDURES

Sellers are the only members at AAANDS who can incur fees. The two types of fees are listing related fees and final sale fees.

Listing Related Fees
Because you decided to register now, you are exempt from paying fees for your basic listings until at least the end of 2003! You can place your item in any type of auction or in our For Sale area for free! (Once you sell your item, our Final Sales Fee applies. Options you may choose to help sell your item include: Boldface, Category Featured Item Auctions, For Sale area Featured Auctions and Featured Auctions.

OPTION

FEE

Boldface

This allows you to boldface the title of your item and helps make it stand out in a crowd!

$1.00

Category Featured Auctions

$5.00

For Sale Featured Items

$5.00

Featured Auctions

Would you like to advertise on our Home Page? Put your item here to maximize your advertising ability!

Or

If your "Featured Auction" item’s reserve price is more than $100.00, or you have multiple items (Dutch Auction) whose reserve prices total more than $100.00

$10.00

$20.00

Item Spamming
Item Spamming is illegal at AAANDS. It is defined as:
  1. Listing items in categories that are not related to that item.
    OR
  2. Duplicating items in any category.
    OR
  3. Creating a false auction for the purpose of advertising your business/website.
The penalty for Item Spamming is a $1.00 per item administration fee to remove each item from auction, a warning and possible membership suspension.

Final Sales Fee

All auctions (except Dutch) and For Sale Area.

When your item sells, you will be charged a Final Sales Fee, which is based on the final sale price or winning bid. If the reserve price is not met, there is no sale! And no sale equals no fee!

Dutch Auctions

Final Sales fee is determined by quantity of items sold multiplied by the lowest successful bid.

Final Sales Fee Schedule

Amount of Winning Bid

Final Sales Fee

Up to $25.00

5% of total

$25.01 to $999.99

5% of first $25.00, then

2.5% of remainder

$1000.00 and up

Straight 2%

Still not quite sure how it works? See the following chart for some examples of Final Sales Fees.

For Example

Amount of Winning Bid

Final Sales Fee

$18.00

$0.90

$392.00

5% of first $25 = $1.25

2.5% $367 = $9.18

so total = $10.43

$1495.00

$29.90

Re-listing your Item

If your item does not sell, you pay no Final Sales Fee. Because you have pre-registered, you can re-list your item for free until it sells! You should think about using Seller's Options, revising the item’s description or lowering the reserve price. To re-list your item, return to the Completed Auctions Item page and use the Re-list Your Item link.

How to set up your AAANDS account

Now that you’ve registered with AAANDS, we will extend to you a $20.00 credit limit. Your account is now active and you can begin selling!

Our Final Sales Fees on your sold items will accrue until the $20.00 limit is reached. If you reach your limit before we bill you for the month, you will need to remit the full balance to avoid your trading activities being temporarily suspended.

There are several methods of payment we accept at AAANDS: Personal check, money order, Discover, American Express, Visa or MasterCard.

The most convenient method of payment is by Discover, American Express, MasterCard or Visa and we encourage you to choose this option.

As we all know, mailing checks and money orders can be a hassle as well as being unreliable. Imagine finding that special item, but being unable to bid on it because you forgot to mail that check! Remember – all trading activity is suspended when accounts are not finalized, and late fees may also apply.

If you choose to mail in a payment, please make payable to: Otherworld Enterprises, Inc.,
Mail your payment to:
Otherworld Enterprises, Inc.
P.O. Box 1721
Simi Valley, CA 93062-1721

This can be very inconvenient, so you may want to prepay your account or place credit card information on this registration form.

If you have chosen to submit your credit card information, you will be billed when your account reaches $20.00, or at the end of the month – whichever comes first.

In order to verify that your credit card information is valid, a $10.00 NONREFUNDABLE charge will be applied immediately and credited to your AAANDS account.
